Something big is happening around town.. and when I say big.... I mean  BIG    

So what am I talking about? What is it that is making everyone:

  You dare to ask? Well ladies and gentleman I present to you Malaysia's No.1 most talked about, most gossiped about, most seen about, most visited about and whatever the most la... Shopping malls!!

I recently had the opportunity to check out the newly opened Tesco-extra in TESCO, TMN MIDAH on 6th Sept 2007. Yep u guys remember the Makro that used to be near the round-about that you could use to go to leisure mall, sg.besi, sri petaling etc.. yep, its been changed to tesco extra now :) goody

The funny thing is that it opened on THURSDAY! A freaking working day!!!  and take a look at this...

The que to the parking lot was pain-stakingly long! It was only 10+ in the morning and the whole place was filled with people and I've concluded from this that Malaysian's do like to shop alot!

Well what can I say? My whole experience is 6/10 lah. So many people that day, the floor layout is that as you enter the building you will be presented with cafetaries and small small shops.. to get to the REAL tesco outlet, you will need to take an escalator up to the top level where all the good bargains are.

Oh ya, dont forget to take the pricelist of goods at the tesco entrance just before you proceed to the gated doors. Inside you will see that there are alot of nifty coupons that can get you exclusive deals :)

As you can see, in front of me at the lower floor, there was this makcik so slow.. looking at each and everything in detail without bothering that there are other people behind her anxiously waiting to take the escalator upstairs.

Taking the escalator up! Signs above your head lead you where you want to go.. ATM's, Toilets, etc.. are all conveniently located.

ROTA-ROTA-ROTA!! and other food grocieries being swiped up by shoppers.. crazy huh? Thursday 10am and you expect this kinda crowd?

  Well I guess thats about it for my trip to TESCO, TMN MIDAH on it's first day launch :)  

Later on the same day,

I went to see my mum at PPUM(Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya) or in other words the UM hospital located in PJ, dang, I miss that place hehe.. My mum was schedule to undergo surgery that day so I asked my kind hearted bosses for off that day so that I could be with her and the rest of my family.

Lucky that me and deary J, My sis & friend made it in time before the scheduled surgery at 5pm..

the clock passed 6pm and finally the nurses took my mum to the OT(operating theater).. Well guys if you are wondering if getting cut open is really scary or not, well to tell you the truth you won't remember a thing right after they gas you hehe. The only thing you'd feel paralaysed for abit after you wake up which isn't so bad after all..

It was almost 10pm and still no sign of mum yet... So we waited...

..

and waited..

and waited some more..

then I decided to take a couple of pics on scenery out my mums room window. The quality is not so la, but still just to kill time.. 

Then we got bored so we went to the 10th floor lobby, while my sis & friend and bro made a mess of mums room. Hehe.. Me and deary J sat in the lobby which was filled with people. As you can see alot of people are leaving coz visiting hours is upto 10pm. Deary J sleeping while me still camwhoring lol!

My mum finally came out of the OT at 10:30pm. Looking pale but still able to speak to us abit.. and Looking much better the next day :)

Unlike me la, look like shit for a whole week :p

I was told that my mum could go home this afternoon :) super happy!! can't wait to go home but sigh.. have to study for my exam tomorrow. 2 papers leh.. how leh???
